I had some pictures recently scanned in by The Data Rescue Center.  (Yes, they scan photographs.  Who knew, right?). The quality is so great.  I had some photos that they scanned in for me and gave them to me on a disc.  I was able to take them and bLow them up and do with them as I pleased.  I have some that I blew up to 11x16 and the quality is amazing, no one would know they're from a scan.

This was a great experience. I had an external hard drive that I couldn't access with 132GB worth of pics and movies from my kids first 5 years. I looked online for a good place to "go" and this company popped up. I filled out a form and within a short amount of time their customer service angel named Erin D responded and answered all my questions. It's so easy, they ship you a bright red box with a label. Once they get it they let you know all the steps they are doing. And if you just want to know the status, shoot them an email and their CS steps up and answers right away. I got everything back and I couldn't be more pleased. Use them if you want great service, affordability and quick turn around.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Data Rescue Center. I had a self-powered small peripheral hard drive that failed, like a mechanical failure kind of thing, not confused software issues. Data Rescue Center was very patient with me, and gave me great communication and follow-up throughout the whole ordeal, and saved ALL of the data on my drive. They work closely with OWC, which is also a company I recommend. They gave me a quote which they stuck to, which in my experience is not necessarily the case with data rescuing places. I always knew what was going on throughout the process, because I got emails with pix attached, plus me being in a panic I called also just to see how things were. I'm afraid I'm going to be sending another drive into them shortly if I can't get it to spin.

The Data Rescue Center recovered a 1TB drive with every picture I have ever taken, all my music and every short film I have produced.
